Maranatha Baptist Church was founded in 1992 as a church on Torresdale Avenue, since then we have been true to our founding principle that, "Everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord."
No matter what walk of life, background or income status--all are welcome. If you are looking for a church that is warm and friendly, still sings the old-time hymns and still preaches from the Bible, then you've come to the right place. We have classes for every age group, from a nursery, to children and teen programs. We are small enough to have that personal touch and big enough to be effective at evangelism.
