Additional Info About Our Church
Mission:
The People: At the Wylie church of Christ we strive to please God by returning to the pattern of Christian worship and living found in the New Testament. We are simply Christians. No More, No Less.
The Assembly: we are sinners saved by the grace of God. We are not here to just socialize but to connect with God and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We do not have a dress code nor do we have assigned seating. Please feel welcome to come as you are and grow with us!
The Worship: At Wylie we take worship very serious. We believe that the Bible is our guide to worship. Therefore, we pray (1 Corinthians 14: 15), we sing from our hearts (1 Corinthians 14:15; Ephesians 5:19), we commune with God through the Lord's Supper each first day of the week (Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-27), we preach the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:1-4), we give to the work of the Kingdom (1 Corinthians 16:1-2), and we fellowship with like-minded believers (Acts 2:42) which means we share our lives together as the body of Christ.
Purpose:
Win souls for Jesus
