Additional Info About Our Church
We're a newly pioneered, multicultural, and multiethnic family of believers in Southern Oregon, with an energetic senior pastor. It's our goal to share the love of Christ with everyone we meet!
Mission:
TheCenter's mission in Southern Oregon, and throughout the globe, is a three-fold plan (UPSIDE, INSIDE, and OUTSIDE), based in God's holy word, affectionately known as "the 4 E's": (1) Exalt our God, Savior, and Holy Spirit; (2) Equip and Exhort the the believers; (3) Evangelize all lost souls.
(1) Exalt our God, Savior, and Holy Spirit (UPSIDE) - According to the scriptures, we all were created to worship God (Philippians 2:9-11). We will make it a priority in all that we do, that God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) alone is glorified through our praise and worship, every word, every deed, every outreach, every ministry... through EVERYTHING!
(2) Edify and Exhort the Believers (INSIDE) - In the Holy Bible, throughout the entire gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) and in Acts, all believers of Christ are told numerous times to study, to not be ignorant of evil things and beings, to be prepared to withstand attacks, to be encouraged for our journey, and the list goes on! We want to be a congregation and fellowship of Christ-lovers that believe in and nurtures true discipleship, and are known for our study of the Word of God... but not only that! We also want to be the encouragers of our region, letting every believer - follower of Christ - know that they are not alone in this fight!
(3) Evangelize All Lost Souls (OUTSIDE) - First to clear up this statement, we know that we may not be exposed to, or given the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with ALL people. However, we are stating the we share His Good News to all that we come into contact with! We take Jesus' statement literally when He stated that we are to speak openly about His great news to every person (Mark 16:15-16). We will thrive mainly through the command given in the 24th chapter of Luke where Jesus reappears after his death, burial, and resurrection and states that the mission field basically begins at home. We will use the gift of helps, find the needs of the community, and minister to the individual's need, which will open an evangelistic door to the longing soul. (Matthew 10:6-14; 28:18-20; Luke 12:8; Acts 2:38-39; Romans 1:16; 10:9-17)
Vision:
"Transforming the culture and reviving the people of Southern Oregon by any HOLY means necessary"
