Additional Info About Our Church
St. Stephen Baptist Church (SSBC) is a loving and caring church with the spirit and vision of our Pastor, Bishop Lainer C. Twyman, Sr. Our focus is on outreach to the community. From our huge "Family Fun Night" for the entire community on the traditional Halloween night to our weekly services at the largest homeless shelter in Washington, DC, SSBC has a ministry where you can apply your God given gifts to serve. We are not just a local church. To working to get fresh water to a African community to making sizable donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, we are worldwide. Come out and feel the LOVE!
Mission:
To MAGNIFY the name of GOD by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world; bringing people into the family of God and developing mature Christians for ministry. (Mathew 28:19-30)
