Join us at St. James, where we grow spriritually in this great Anglican Tradition. The 1928 Book of Common Prayer and Anglican Missal are the liturgical standard in worship at St. James.
Mission:
The quintessential reason for St. James' existence in Kansas City and elsewhere as our member church, is its fidelity in upholding the historic Catholic Faith, Apostolic Order, Orthodox Liturgical Worship, and Evangelical Witness of the traditional Anglican Church. In keeping with the Anglican Tradition, this is our motto to practice and uphold the same as the early Christians did, 'As The Lord Taught; As The Apostles Proclaimed; As the Fathers Preserved!' Anyone who seeks this type of traditional Anglican church, St. James is here for them. The Apostle James was commissioned by God to bring the Good News of Christ to a broken world. He accomplished this through his life and martyrdom. St. James Anglican Church shares in this Great Commission and witnessing that is backed by two millennia of church history and apostolic tradition of preserving the 'faith once delivered unto the saints'.
Vision:
Foster Faith Family and Worship
Purpose:
Great Commission and to preserve, protect and pass on the faith once delivered
