Additional Info About Our Church
One thing we want you to know right off the bat is that we're not perfect, we don't have it together, and we don't pretend to, either. So we've tried to create an environment that's welcoming to unchurched people. We've tried to cater to the people who need help and are honest about it. We do that because we've found the answer for our lives and we want to share it with you. We believe that Jesus is the only one who can meet our needs, save us from our sin, and be strong in our weakness. It's all about Jesus at Northern Hills. So when you come through our doors, know this: it's not about you.
We're following Jesus, the only One worth following. And we're following Him because we want to. It's all about our love for Him because of what He's done for us. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask us when you come for a visit. It's probably the most important question you'll ever ask.
Northern Hills is a place of transformation where people experience new beginnings and changed lives through God's grace. Northern Hills is an OK place to struggle and be honest about your pain, regrets, fears, and junk. Here you will be reminded that God meets you where you are, but loves you too much to leave you there. It is a place to come face to face with God's grace and experience forgiveness, freedom from addictions, and restoration of relationships.
Mission:
Helping people encounter the REAL LOVE of Jesus, Discover their REAL PURPOSE, and become bold agents of REAL CHANGE.
Purpose:
We believe it's okay not to be okay. We seek God desperately. We pray expectantly. We serve like crazy. We don't go it alone. We give until it hurts. We are introducers.
