Additional Info About Our Church
Newbreak Church is a multi-site church with five campuses in San Diego (Tierrasanta, Scripps Mesa, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, and East County).
Our vision is to be in communities, loving communities, and shaking communities for Jesus throughout San Diego. When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these" (Mark 12:29-31).

At Newbreak, we want to live as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, fulfilling this commandment in everything we do. Living as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ means that we embrace the overwhelming love of God and as a result we love God with all our hearts and grow in love for the people He loves, whether they are here in this body of believers, part of our neighborhoods, or living in other countries. This kind of love will absolutely shake the planet for Him.

Newbreak is an independent community of believers connected as a free association with the Assemblies of God.
Mike Quinn is the Lead Pastor and key visionary leader of Newbreak. He does this by focusing on equipping the entire church and investing himself in the senior staff roles. Outside of his role at Newbreak, he also assists church planters around the world to discover who they are and what they're living for.
