Moores Corner Church was founded in 1896 by a protege of Evangelist D.L. Moody who also lived and ministered in Western Massachusetts. Moores Corner Church belonged to the Congregationalist Denomination until it broke away due to the increase of liberalism and unbelief. The Church is firmly committed to expository preaching and missions.
