Additional Info About Our Church
Today, Mid-Way Baptist Church ministers to people of all ages and all walks of life. Beginning with the smallest infant and continuing through every phase of life, we believe it is our privilege as well as our responsibility to contribute to the developent and enhancement of individuals as they walk and grow in their Christian faith.
Mid-Way Baptist Church is continually experiencing growth through every aspect of the ministry. In order to reach many more souls with the gospel we are prepared to continue growing and expanding to meet the needs of each generation. We praise the Lord for those who have given of themselves so that we can increase our efforts in reaching out to the members of our church and the surrounding community.
Mid-Way Baptist Church is a miracle of its day - from fifteen charter members, to an active membership of over 2500 and a total campus of eighty-nine plus acres. God has blessed the church with many wonderful Christians who are willing to sacrifice for the work of the Lord. All facilities are paid for in full when constructed, and the church operates on a debt-free basis. It is very evident that no man could accomplish what has been accomplished since 1966; therefore to God be the glory ... Great things he hath done!
Purpose:
To bring people to Jesus Christ, develop them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for ministry and glorify the name of God.
