Additional Info About Our Church
We are a non-denominational Christian Church serving St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and the Fox River Valley of Illinois. Joyfully connecting with God, each other and the world!
Mission:
We are a group of friends that began meeting in September of 2016 to talk about our faith. The motivating idea that made us want to start a church can be found in the Gospel of Matthew where Jesus says, "I desire mercy, not sacrifice."
Vision:
We affirm the historic Christian Creeds--Apostles and Nicene--but we are also interested in looking at fresh ways to practice faith with mercy - a generous orthodoxy.
Purpose:
Our desire is to gather regularly in a way that is completely open and safe for all people, and that treats our journey with God as a great adventure full of curiosity, honesty and wonder!
