Additional Info About Our Church
Linden Life Fellowship began as a result of two churches merging in February 2014. High Praise International Fellowship (a predominantly African-American charismatic church) and Meadowbrook Christian Fellowship (a predominantly Caucasian non-charismatic church) came together under the leadership of Pastor Arthur Gray and Pastor Mark Brereton. Together they preach God's Word and through their servant leadership, directly oversee and impact the various ministries of Linden Life.
Mission:
Our desire here at Linden Life Fellowship is to create an atmosphere of genuine cross-cultural worship, unapologetic preaching of the Word of God, courageous witness and continuous prayer. We believe God has called us to lead the way in racial reconciliation in our city. We are a diverse community of believers, desiring to grow to show the world that we are one.
Vision:
We strive for this in response to Jesus' prayer: "That they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me." (John 17:23 ESV) We also believe God has called us to positively impact the South Linden area with the transformational power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, through various outreach efforts. We pursue this impact as a result of God's instruction to "Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you." (Jeremiah 29:7 NLT)
Purpose:
Community Development is at the center of our vision to "Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you" (Jeremiah 29:7 NLT). Our goal is to engage and challenge our culture in the Linden area and central Ohio. Currently, our initiatives are focused within local schools, partnering with leaders and teachers to support students academically, socially and spiritually. Linden Life seeks to demonstrate the unified love of the body of Christ to our neighbors by collaborating with other local churches and organizations seeking to support our neighbors. Our focus on community development provides the platform for proclaiming the truth of the Gospel to the world around us.
