Additional Info About Our Church
Eglise Chretienne De La Grace/Grace Christian Church was founded by Pastor Francois Louis and Pastor Kervin Joseph. The Inaugural service was March 13, 2011. The ministry's vision and mission are to create a community for the 21st century where families and individuals can worship and do relevant and impactful ministry.
"We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is the supreme and infallible authority which true Christians cannot live without."
Mission:
Our mission is to transform, by the power of the Holy Spirit, ordinary people in true disciples of Jesus Christ, to create, encourage, and maintain an atmosphere of continuous growth, and to promote a sanctified Christian community where brotherly love, servanthood, and endurance are visible and active.
Vision:
In order to transform ordinary people in true disciples of Jesus Christ, Grace Christian Church will follow the example of the early Church in Acts 2: 42-46. We will teach the whole counsel of God without compromise. We will use a practical method which will permit us to reach the unbelievers and to edify the believers. We will establish the base of a strong Christian community in accordance with Jesus' teaching in John 13: 34-35. We will promote a love that can be seen in our every day's life. We will make sure that our worship service be a true and desired spiritual experience. We will put a special emphasis on praise and prayer. We will maintain an atmosphere personal growth. We will train the saints in the work of ministry in order to "build up the body of Christ". (Eph. 4: 12) We will teach believers to stay away from evil and to do good. We will tell them about the maneuvers of the enemy, and train them into handling the weapons of God. (Eph. 6: 13) We will engage in the "Great Co-Mission". We will begin at home, and we will go as far as possible. Mission and evangelism will not be considered accessories. No matter what happens, we will stand firm in the work that is imparted to us. We will lead the believers to such a degree of intimacy with God that they will not look back for any reason; they will â keep their eyes on Jesus, the Source and Perfecter of our faith. (Heb. 12: 2).
