God is for the rest of us, and GCC is a new church for you. We are not your typical church. Have you ever felt like you'd never fit in at any church? We aim to be a church just for you. We don't expect our attendees to be "perfect" or religious. In fact, we're a community of imperfect people locking arms together in pursuit of a perfect God. Our goal is to create a place where people who don't like church, or maybe you are a Christian looking to go deeper in faith, you can call home. Come and find out about faith, God, the Bible and Jesus.
Mission:
We make it easy for people to get connected and involved with each other no matter what their age or background. We exist to create an atmosphere of love, acceptance and truth. You will not find a lot of tradition, rules, and ritual here as we are an independent church based upon God's Word only. Our purpose is based upon two key scriptures of the Bible, both coming from Acts. Our first mission is that of sharing the love Jesus Christ has for everyone. We are not here for the perfect people; we are here to help those in need to know and understand His love. This is based upon Acts 1:8 (GWT): "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you. Then you will be my witnesses to testify about me in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Our second is based upon the four God-ordained priorities: the teaching of God's word, the building of deep fellowship, worship and study of the crucified and risen Christ, and fervent prayer. Acts 2:42, "And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles, teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
