First Congregational, was established in 1872, becoming the first organized congregation in the city of Huntington. FC, voted in 1957 to become a part of the newly formed denomination, the United Church of Christ. FCUCC has been on the cutting edge of "peace and social justice" issues throughout its history; our own congregation was the first to integrate within city limits. FCUCC remains a beacon of truth and a light through Christ, in the spreading of the social gospel. Regardless of who you are or where you are on life's journey you are welcome here.
