Historic First Bryan Baptist Church was organized and constituted as a baptist church January 20, 1788. Andrew Bryan founder, was the first recorded black preachers to be licensed and ordained over a black congregation. We are the oldest continous black baptist church in America. The church is located in Historic Savannah Yamacraw Village.
