Additional Info About Our Church
DKB is located in Old Towne East section of Columbus, an opportunity neighborhood. Our church was founded April 14, 1967 by the late Overseer Bertha Plummer C. W. Gilbert. She began the church as a prayer band in her home, moved into a renovated location, until the Lord instructed her in 1975 to build the current edifice. Many preachers have been sent and churches have been planted from this ministry.
Mission:
DKB seeks to change the lives of men and women through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We reach into the community to bring the down trodden into the kingdom of God!
Vision:
DKB is the church that declares belief in the word of God as a core value, change as a necessity, and obedience as the root principle that leads to success and personal growth in God.
Purpose:
Building the Kingdom, One Soul at a Time
