Additional Info About Our Church
The history of CCCC goes back to 1986, when some Chinese students initiated a weekly class for Bible study in an American church. Starting from 1997, we have the Chinese Sunday worship, the purpose of which is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Chinese students, scholars and their families in Clemson. We put emphasis on Bible reading, prayer, Sunday worship and serving the Lord in unity so that we are able to witness the growth of our spiritual life in Jesus Christ. Currently Chinese-English bilingual Sunday worship is available. Generally there are about 60 people attending our Sunday worship every week, which are mainly the Chinese students and scholars living in Clemson.
Vision:
(1) Carry on the Great Commission to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Chinese around Clemson; (2) Equip the saints to expand the Kingdom of God.
Purpose:
The purpose of this church is to glorify God. To this end it exists for: the worship and service of God; the teaching of His Word; the proclamation of His saving grace; the building up, fellowship, and discipline of those who believe the Son; the practice of holiness without which no one shall see God; and the rendering of compassionate service to all regardless of social class or race.
