Additional Info About Our Church
Carmel Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian U.S.A. community of faith seeking transformational growth as the body of Christ. Members of Carmel, through preaching, teaching, equipping, support, and faith action, seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. The Church uses opportunities in the local and greater community to be stewards for God.
Carmel Presbyterian is lead by Senior Pastor Jim Szeyller. In worship and church life Jim provides a passionate message that as stewards of Christ the members of Carmel Presbyterian should strive to be "All In" for God. His weekly message has a clear focus, revealing the truths of scripture and their relevancy in a broken world.
Carmel offers a convergence of traditional and contemporary worship and small group studies for adults, youth and children. It is the commitment of Carmel to be a home to those that seek God. With an open heart we welcome visitors to see how God works through our congregations and makes us stewards for His word.
Mission:
In obedience to the authoritative and inspired Word of God, we are: Called into an intimate relationship with God; Saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone; Transformed into Christs disciples who joyfully proclaim His gospel; Nurtured in deep and abiding relationships with one another; Equipped to discover our Spirit-given gifts and ministries; Sent, in the power of the Spirit, in vital ministries to a broken and needy world; and, Revitalized within the church family and sent again to minister to the world.
