Additional Info About Our Church
Founded around 1880 by a group of children "playing church." Former slaves, farmers, sharecroppers, and domestics sacrificed to purchase land. Served as the colored school and colored cemetery. Present location built in 1964. Several renovations over the years. Fellowship hall, office, and ADA restrooms added in 2004.
Mission:
To equip Christians with the tools needed to evangelize, witness and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. To empower Christians through the word of God to live holy, healthy and spirit filled lives to the glory of God. To provide a family centered ministry and a community-focused outreach with a desire to heal the hurting and to provide relief to those that are suffering.
